St. Agatha Church and St. Martin de Porres parishes were combined, and are now St. Simon of Cyrene. SJC Outreach has supported St. Agatha and will continue to support St. Simon.

Fr. Larry Dowling, previously the pastor at St. Agatha, is now the pastor of the combined church.

SJC supports the parish through the following:

• Monthly financial donation
• Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter hams and turkeys for many of those in need in the community
• Thanksgiving meal for 300 both financed and served with the assistance of SJC Outreach members, with all cooking done by the St. Simon staff.
• Share Christmas support with toys and gift cards as needed to help.
• As part of the Catholic Charities Welcome the Stranger program, St. Simon has “adopted” a refugee family and will accompany them as they resettle in their new life.
