Awareness–Advocacy–Prevention
The mission of the St John of the Cross Domestic Violence Outreach committee is threefold.
- To raise awareness about domestic violence within the parish, school and local community.
- To advocate for and promote support services such as counseling, area support groups and access to effective resources and materials.
- Provide ongoing education for parish staff, teachers, catechists and volunteers with the goal of preventing domestic violence.
