St. John of the Cross has become a partner with Kolbe House in our efforts to minister to the imprisoned and their families. They have an immediate need for CTA bus passes, Payless Shoe gift cards, and men’s work and dress shirts (sizes XL, 2X and 3X). Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Center and will be delivered to Kolbe House on Feb. 20th. Thanks for your support!

We are also collecting recycled devotionals for inmates. Many reach a point of despair when incarcerated. If you can send an anonymous card to an inmate pledging your prayerful support, you can be an instrument of hope. Please put these items in the Kolbe Box in the vestibule of the church. Thanks!
